Orphan Ministry: Mission 1:27

 
The Statistics are shocking. The need is overwhelming. At times it may be tempting to distance ourselves from the worldwide orphan crisis and believe that we can't make a difference. But we can.
 
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27

For the Body of Christ, it's not simply a suggestion...it's a command
God knows each one of these precious children by name. it's personal to Him. He calls each of us to do our part to offer hope to them. Adopting, fostering, supporting an adoptive or foster family, meeting the physical and spiritual needs of children in orphanages overseas or in the U.S. foster care system in our own backyard...you can make a difference in the life of an orphan.

The purpose of Mission 1:27 is to turn lost people into sold-out followers of Christ by demonstrating God's love through caring for orphans and the families that provide for them daily.
